ATP and RTP for walls and floors

Aluminum tread plate (ATP) or rubber tread plate (RTP) can be used on the inside walls, outside wall trim, or floors.

ATP can be smooth or textured. It works great on walls, inside and outside.
Textured ATP comes in different patterns such as a diamond pattern.

It is commonly used on the lower portion of the exterior of the trailer as a rock guard. Although it is not rock proof, it is more durable than the normal aluminum used on the exterior of the trailer.

It can also be used in specific areas such as the front of the trailer, or if preferred, all around the lower portion of the trailer.

It can also be used on the lower part of the inside walls as a scuff guard.

It normally comes in either silver or black colors.

Although the textured type can be used on floors, many prefer RTP.

RTP

RTP is used mostly on the floors and ramps because it creates a more slip resistant surface.  It can also be used on the lower part of the inside walls as a scuff guard if preferred.

Many customers like to use it inside the trailers on the bottom of the walls as scuff guard.

Linolium

Linolium is another option that is available as a floor covering. It is the same type of linolium used in homes and provides a little more cushion. Although it is fairly durable, it can be gauged or cut.

It’s water-resistant, not waterproof.

It comes in various colors and designs and is glued to the trailer floor.

Exposure to excess moisture can damage a linoleum floor.
