An imaginary border (geographical boundary) that is set up on a GPS or other device.
It can be round or other shapes.
A GPS will trigger an alert when it enters or exits the virtual boundary.
This is can be used to make sure trailers or vehicles do not leave a specified area. The distance can be a few feet or miles.
