If the jig is not square, the trailer will also not be square.

A jig is a custom made table used to control the location and placement of something during construction. In this case, steel. A jig’s primary purpose is to provide repeatability, accuracy, and interchangeability in the cargo trailer manufacturing process.

If the jig is built properly and the metal is placed properly on the jig, the frame should be be square, or any another shape that the jig was designed to produce.
