Shopping for the best cargo trailer?
Here are a few tips!
- Read trailer owner reviews. Their comments/ratings will tell you most of what you need to know.
- Make sure the manufacturer provides good warranty service. Do they avoid warranty calls after you already paid them?
- Many brands use low quality plywood to save money. Does the plywood they use have knots or chunks missing from them?
- Do they answer your calls or emails in a timely manner? If a company does not respond to you before the sale, what do you think they will do after they have gotten your money?
- Do they have clear easy to understand sales documentation? If not be careful. Your trailer may not have the features you ordered.
- Does your sales order match what you requested or does it have mistakes?
The most common problems trailer buyers have is waiting a long time for your trailer only to find out it is not what you ordered!
To avoid this problem, make sure to read your final order very carefully. Make sure that any changes you request are reflected on your trailer order form.
Do NOT accept verbal confirmations of order changes! Get them in writing!
