  1. CAUTION! STAY AWAY FROM THIS FACTORY! Trailer is falling apart! Metal coming loose, no caulking, leaking. This thing is crap and they don’t want to do anything about it.

Picked up my trailer from them about 3 weeks ago. Drove from St. Louis to them & back in 26hrs. I’m not going to say that it was perfect, they built it off of a I beam frame versus a tube frame chassis, but so far they have been really good about trying to make everything right.
They refunded me the money difference, & will be sending me a spare tire mount.
Had a panel that was not screwed in properly, (they are sending a new panel & an assortment of screws), a weld got over looked (fixed), panels were not sealed properly (fixed), lighting & turn signals (soon to be fixed).

I will admit I am not 100% happy, but they are working with me to fix all these issues. I even had a shop here in Stl, fix some of the issues, & they are refunding me the money I paid out, because of it being under warranty, & not done right.

I get it, you get what you pay for, but I do still want it to be right & safe.
I did have to climb underneath to wire loom the main wires, that’s me.

I will update this once I receive the check & parts.

    + PROS: It pulls straight.
    - CONS: Suggestion: pay closer attention to detail, & use grommets to pass wire through.

They Build a great trailer for the money. You can spend more on a trailer if you want something real fancy, but that’d be a waste of $ for what i’m using it for. Or you can find a cheaper one and you’ll probably regret it. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for, and i am very happy with the trailer i got from Quality Cargo! Thanks Guys.

+ PROS: Best Value for the Dollar.
    - CONS: Small Yard, Not a lot of room when i picked up. Probably would have gone better if i wasn't late.

I just picked mine up yesterday from Orange County Truck and Trailer Sales in NY. I bought the 6 x 10 SA in charcoal grey from them. First of all, the owner Jake, is a straight shooting stand up guy. No BS or showmanship, just honest as the day is long. I drive a Jeep Wrangler and this was the biggest trailer I wanted behind it for regional installations of my product and picking up and delivering materials to my vendors. The trailer itself is made by Quality Cargo in GA. It is better than all the other Brand Name trailers I looked at here in the Northeast. The next closest choice for me was exactly $1000 more for a lesser quality trailer. This trailer is just what I need for my business and exceeded my expectations when I picked it up.

+ PROS: The trailer is nice to look at and is made with top shelf components. The fit and finish is fantastic for the price.
    - CONS: None so far.

Purchased a trailer from a ‘dealer’ – Snapper Trailers with Jarret Baker in Bushnell, Florida. Date of collection of said trailer was 12/08/2016.

Warranty, Photograph below, was also provided on that date.

I reported issues to Snapper Trailers on 2/25/17 – just two months after collection. The trailer is suffering from a huge excess of exterior and INTERIOR rust. I was advised to contact Quality Cargo. I called them and was advised I had to put my warranty claim in online and someone would get back to me within 1 business day.
This was the state of lots of problems. After putting in the claim it was me having to chase them by phone for a response – they did not care at all about the claim. They told me the exterior rust is natural and will occur.

I get that it will happen – NOT TO THIS EXCESS and certainly not this quickly. [continued below]….
    Report Attachments:

….. Then the interior – initially tried to claim that it wasn’t rusting on the interior – sent photographs – then they backpeddled on that as well. Acknowledged it shouldnt be happening but basically said tough.
I also photographs interior walls and siding coming away from the wall that were inadequately stapled up. Interior molding coming away that was inadequately fixed.
For this I was told tough luck. You can drive your trailer 6 hours back to us in GA (i bought it 30 mins from my house), but probably not worth it so dont bother.

The warranty provided inaccurate and incomplete as it states you need to return it to us – but doesn’t state where. Snapper Trailers advised that problems with trailers are fixed locally.

    Quality Cargo doesn’t care.

We paid $4,959.99 for a trailer that has huge rust problems and interior issues after only 2 MONTHS. The company offered $50 gift card to go and buy rustoleum. That was it.

I have today, filed for the $500 deposit by Visa to be returned to me. Sadly the remainder was paid by check, but I will not give up on this quest.

+ PROS: Not sure there is any.
    - CONS: Refuses to honor warranty. Falling apart. Rusty within weeks.

Dealt with Kelly she was wonderful and kind!
I purchased a 6 X 14 with extended tongue , extended nose, extra 6″ in height, and a 30 X 30 window. It is a very well built trailer at a low price.
I see on here that someone complains about rust, I just cant see how that could happen. All the metal parts on my trailer are really well coated with paint, and the skin is aluminum. I just cant see how it could rust.
Back to my trailer… I pulled it 360 miles from the factory to my home here in NC. It pulled straight and true, and with little effort using my 6 cylinder Nissan Frontier. I plan to convert it into a camping trailer.
I have no complaints at all about the quality of the trailer, Its built well finished well and pretty too! I will never hesitate to buy another trailer from Quality Cargo Trailers! We Call it “The Big Red Thang!”

    + PROS: Everything
    - CONS: none Cant rate service because I haven't needed any

The trailer was poor quality in general which makes their name ironic. The craftsmanship was very poor from the seams in the trailer, to the immediate rust issue, to the axle being mounted 1″ off of center which eventually led to worn out bearings, tire rubbed on inside wall and supposedly a bent spindle causing $850 in damage. When I filed a claim against the supposed 3 year warranty they first told me that I needed to bring my trailer 1700 miles to have them do the warranty work. They should not sell trailers in other states if they will only do warranty work in Georgia that is very misleading and decieving. When I told them that my trailer was immobile and that I counted on it to make a living, the manufacturer didn’t want to deal with me so he sent me to deal with his axle subcontractor Suretrac. Suretrac picked a trailer shop they trusted to diagnose and fix the problem but by the time they had diagnosed the problem Suretrac was closed. So the trailer shop per therir instructions documented the damage and their finings with pictures and a written description emailed to Suretrac. Suretrac had stated verbally to me as well as the trailer shop they would be paying for the repairs so the trailer shop replaced the axle the next day but by the time the work was complete because of the time difference Suretrac had closed and I needed my trailer for work the next day so I had to pay for repairs with the intent of being re-imbursed from suretrac. When I called Suretrac the next day they refused to pay for anything and said their intent was to ship the parts from Georgia to Colorado because that would cost them less money with no regard for my ability to go to work or make money. After several months of fighting with Quality Cargo and Suretrac they agreed to pay $350 of the $850 cost even though it was well documented by their trailer store that it was a manufacturer defect.

+ PROS: Cheap but not after you get done fixing defects.
    - CONS: Craftsmanship Materials Refusal to honor warranty

Very poor QUALITY vents installed wrong, gaps everywhere imaginable. My 2018 Trailer has more rust than my 2004 camper ever will. Bolt holding the leaf spring on was halfway out never installed a nut. Lights not working. Dents and dings everywhere. They painted over a rusty dirty panel literally paintet over chunks of dirt. Dented molding. It looks like a child applied caulking. Very poor quality

    + PROS: Tires hold air

  11. Worst trailers I have ever seen in my life. I own a landscape business and Bought two at the same time, I get flat tires almost every week from bolts falling out of the trailers structure. The wood isn’t strong enough to hold a person in my “car hauler”.
Specs call for a 3/4 inch plywood floor… I would be lucky to have 1/2 inch plywood floors that I put my foot through 1 year into owning the trailer. We now need bungee cords to hold doors closed as the latches on both trailers have completely fallen apart. I will be posting pictures and videos of the defects I found just today including broken welds on more than 1/2 of the frame, and a piece of metal support for the floor that isn’t even long enough to be welded to the other side of the trailer. It’s just flapping in the wind! My advise to you, do not buy! I have tried multiple times to call and have a reasonable solution to this problem and refuse to talk to me. All I’m looking for is my trailer be replaced or fixed. I’m at a loss for words because I spent close to $12,000 and my trailers might as well be considered worth nothing more than scrap.

Very poor construction. The roof rafters were to short. The rafter were just hanging. 4 of the rafter were this way. Even though they are cheap. Don’t buy them. You’ll have A LOT OF HEADACHES. No tech. support what so ever. DON’T BUY THESE TRAILERS.

    + PROS: Cheap
    - CONS: Poor quality and construction.
