  1. Stay away from kristi trailers.
I had a custom extra heavy duty enclosed trailer built.in 2015. I picked the trailer up and used it for a week and the door was built to wide and kept ripping the trim off and the sheet metal screws started falling out. Kristi sent someone to my shop and replaced the corner metal and the missing screws and left a box of extra screws for when the rest fall out. A few weeks later the trim ripped off again as I guess the rear door can not be opened unless on perfectly level ground. They had me bring the trailer 5 hours each way back to the factory, repaired the trailer and 3 weeks later I had to drive 5 hours each way to pick it up again. They cut the rear door down so it would not rub and repaired the metal. A few months later I noticed the aluminum sheets corroding on the sides and the floor cross members bending from a 3500 scissor lift. This trailer was built with 12″ oc cross member, double 3/4″ plywood and diamond plate on top. I had to bring the trailer back again, and 3 weeks later I had to pick it up. When i picked it up, it was after hours and found they did not replace the aluminum sheets, but put diamond plate over the corrosion as they did not have time to re-skin the trailer. About six months later the skin is corroded through around the wheel wheels and also through the diamond plate along the bottom of the trailer. I have called Kevin at Kristi about 20 times and he is always going to have the owner contact me. This week, the bottom rear door support that the rear door hinges mount to rotted out from the inside, so it was not visible and the rear door fell off in a customers yard. I had to pay $1800 for a fab shop to rebuild the rear of the trailer as the steel that was used was thinner then the side steel and could not be repaired. The fab shop can not believe this trailer is only three years old and rotting from the inside out as the trailer was not prepped and sealed correctly.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KRISTI TRAILERS!!!!!
You can call me anytime at 802-249-0678 and I would be glad to send you pictures. I own 13 trailers and I have never seen such poor workmanship and customer service.
