Sea Lion Trailers

  1. I would never buy a sea lion trailer again. Don’t know about the product yet but their customer service SUCKS. As soon as they read this they will know exactly who I am. I went to a dealer looking for an aluminum trailer for my 19’ twin vee catamaran. They pulled out the sea lion book and found the model sa21-3100e he immediately called sea lion to ask if they could rig this trailer for the cat. While on the phone he sent make model of boat over as well as pictures of the same boat. They said they could and told me two weeks. No problem they never even looked at the info sent to them they sent me their standard vee hull trailer. Useless to me. Sent it back with more pics and info and was promised I would have it the following week in time for my daughters birthday. It came in this time it had the the 4 semi parallel bunks but the were too short ant could not be moved out far enough to be useable with my boat.sent back for a third time this time with the promise to be done in two weeks in time for my sons birthday. This time I had to send them more photos and a drawing of how to do it. It Did not come in for three weeks another ruined birthday. This time it came in as a galvanized trailer not the aluminum I had ordered. I was told they could not use the aluminum frame said it was not wide enough at the front. While the old trailer I had was not as wide as the aluminum frame. No sorry no nothing from them . I am currently talking to an attorney about this since they could not deliver the aluminum trailer I had ordered and paid for. They put the same model # on the galvanized tubular trailer that was on the aluminum trailer. When you look up the model # the description is for an aluminum I beam trailer not galvanized. I guess they feel as long as they put the model #on it the description doesn’t matter
